FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution are “hopeful” that Kelyn Rowe will be available for Saturday afternoon’s home opener after an injury forced the midfielder off just 45 minutes into Sunday’s season opener against the Houston Dynamo.
Rowe started alongside Gershon Koffie in central midfield and completed the first half, but looked to be in some discomfort as the sides returned to the field following the halftime break. He stepped off just before the second half got underway and was immediately replaced by Scott Caldwell.
“Kelyn took a little bit of a knock,” head coach Jay Heaps said.
