FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution’s match against Orlando City SC scheduled for Saturday at Gillette Stadium has been postponed due to projected extreme weather conditions in the area. Saturday’s weather forecast calls for extreme cold with wind chills expected to take temperatures below 10 degrees around Gillette Stadium.
The match against Orlando City SC will now be played at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 2 at 7:00 p.m. New England will now open its home schedule against Minnesota United FC on Saturday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. ET.
"All of us involved in this decision believe this is in the best interest of the fans, the players, and the game," said Revolution President Brian Bilello.
