For the second time in three years, the New England Revolution and Philadelphia Union will face off in the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals. Tonight's contest serves as a rematch of the 2014 quarterfinals, when the Revs conceded two first-half goals en route to a 2-0 loss.
Unlike the 2014 match, however, the Revs will claim homefield advantage for tonight's tilt, marking the club's first home match in tournament play. The Revs previously won road matches against the Carolina RailHawks (4th Round) and New York Cosmos (Round of 16). Mostly recently, the Revs gutted out a 0-0 regular-season draw against host Real Salt Lake.
