It looks like the New England Revolution’s two marquee off-season signings will be ready for First Kick.
The Revolution’s most recent injury report only includes one player, as Zachary Herivaux is listed as out with a right ankle sprain. The relatively clean bill of health means that Antonio Delamea and Benjamin Angoua will likely partner in the heart of the defense.
The two defenders played 57 minutes side-by-side during the preseason finale, helping the Revs record a shutout against the New York Red Bulls II. Although they haven’t amassed a lot of minutes together, largely because Angoua’s hamstring injury, head coach Jay Heaps has been happy with what he’s seen.
