As the Revolution prepare to close out their historic regular season on Sunday as they host Inter Miami, a trio of Revs players received call-ups to their international clubs for upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
Throughout the 2021 season, goalkeeper Matt Turner has been a factor in the Revs success. The Park Ridge, New Jersey-native has 27 appearances for the Revolution in 2021, where he’s strung together five clean sheets and 98 saves.
Turner’s notoriety outside New England began to rise towards the beginning of 2021. The then 26-year-old keeper would make his international debut in a 7-0 shutout victory against Trinidad and Tobago on January 31st.
