FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have signed United States international goalkeeper Cody Cropper as a Discovery signing pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC), the club announced Thursday.
Cropper, 23, has spent the last four years in England at both the Premier League and English Football League Championship levels. He joins New England following one season with MK Dons, where he made nine appearances and logged 685 minutes. Prior to joining MK Dons, Cropper spent three seasons with Southampton F.C. of the Premier League. He began his time in England in the academy system of Championship side Ipswich Town, where he played from 2010-12.
