The New England Revolution have signed midfielder/defender Cristhian Machado, per a club press release. Machado will officially become a member of the senior roster upon receipt of his international transfer certificate (ITC).
Machado, 28, has spent most of his career playing in Bolivia’s top flight. He was most recently with Club Deportivo Jorge Wilstermann, which is his hometown club. Machado has collected more than 145 league appearances, 120 starts, and two goals with Wilstermann from 2008-14 and 2015-18. Machado also spent time with Bolivian club Sport Boys (2014-15) and the Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the NASL (January through July, 2012).
