FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution II have signed Revolution Academy midfielder Dennis Ramirez to the team’s USL League One roster. A native of Waltham, Mass., Ramirez becomes the second active Revolution Academy player signed by Revolution II, along with Meny Silva, and will officially join the roster pending league and federation approval.
Ramirez, 18, joined the Revolution Academy in 2018 and quickly established himself as a key contributor for the Under-19 side. Over the past two seasons, Ramirez has made 33 appearances, including 30 starts, as both a defender and defensive midfielder. So far in preseason action for Revolution II, Ramirez has appeared in all four exhibition games, including starts in the opening two contests with Hartford Athletic of the USL Championship and one against the University of New Hampshire on March 7.
