Revolution II Add Three More Players to USL League One Roster

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution II continue to bolster the team’s inaugural USL League One roster with the additions of defender Simon Lekressner, defender Oskar Bloch, and goalkeeper Joe Rice, pending league and federation approval, bringing the second-team roster to 14 players ahead of the March 28 season opener at Gillette Stadium vs. Orlando City B.

Lekressner, 21, was selected by New England with the 30th-overall pick in the second round of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft after a four-year career at the University of California. Prior to signing with Revolution II, he had been training with the first team during its preseason trips to Los Angeles and Portland, logging 180 minutes across three games, plus an additional 45-minute outing in a scrimmage against the University of Portland.
