Revolution fall 4-2 to LA Galaxy

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The Revolution (1-3-7; 10 points) fell to the LA Galaxy (6-1-3; 21 points), 4-2, at the StubHub Center on Sunday afternoon. Juan Agudelo scored for the second consecutive match, Kelyn Rowe recorded his second goal of the season, and captain Jose Goncalves made his 100th appearance for the club in the loss. Rowe’s 24th career goal moves him into a tie with Wolde Harris for ninth place on the club’s all-time goal scoring list. Goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth also submitted a season-high five saves, but the Revolution – forced to play with 10 men for the final 13 minutes due to a rib injury to Goncalves – couldn’t overcome an early three-goal deficit.
