Revolution Close Home Slate with 2-1 Win Against New York City FC

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (12-15-6; 42 pts.) defeated New York City FC (16-9-8; 56 pts.), 2-1, before a crowd of 33,767 at Gillette Stadium on Sunday evening. Midfielder Diego Fagundez scored both of New England's goals for his third career brace, giving him 40 tallies in his MLS career. The win was New England's 12th at Gillette Stadium this season, which sets a new club record for the most home wins in a single season.

Fagundez is now the fifth Revolution player with 40 regular season goals in his MLS career. Defender Andrew Farrell assisted his first goal, giving him a career-high three helpers on the season.
