FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution Academy midfielder Isaac Angking and defender Tyler Freitas have been selected to join the U.S. Under-17 Residency Program in Bradenton, Florida for the 2016 Spring Semester. Angking and Freitas are two of 32 players that will live, train and study with the Under-17 National Team under the direction of head coach John Hackworth. The two Revolution Academy products are currently in Turkey as part of the U.S. U-17 team that will compete in the Aegean Cup 2016, which is their first international tournament of the year.
“This is a special opportunity for both Isaac and Tyler and a big step in their development,” Revolution Director of Youth Development Bryan Scales said.
