The New England Revolution made quick work of Real Salt Lake as four first-half goals secured full points on Saturday night. The result was a team effort as six different Revs players found their way onto the score sheet.
The game’s opening strike came from an unlikely source, as Scott Caldwell finished a Diego Fagundez feed in the 4th minute. After being played into space by Chris Tierney, Fagundez hit a left-footed cross that found an on-rushing Caldwell. It was Caldwell’s third career goal, his second against RSL.
