In dire need of a late-season win, the Revolution welcomed Sporting KC to Gillette Stadium on Saturday night. And the home side took care of business, riding goals from Kei Kamara and Juan Agudelo to a 3-1 victory.
Kamara got things started for the Revs in the 4th minute with a composed, one-one-one finish past Sporting KC keeper Tim Melia. The former Kansas City forward collected a through ball from Juan Agudelo, turned toward goal and slotted a side-footed shot into the back of the net.
For the ensuing 41 minutes, the Revolution controlled the flow of play.
