The New England Revolution put together their most comprehensive performance of the year on Saturday when they defeated New York City FC 3-1.
The Revs looked good early on with Juan Agudelo breaking through in the 21st minute. The striker's right-footed blast was assisted by Diego Fagundez. Agudelo appears to be heating up, as he now has two goals in two games.
Lee Nguyen doubled the Revs' lead 21 minutes later when he finished a Kelyn Rowe cross. Though his name won't show up on the scoresheet, Fagundez was instrumental in the build, as his dummy deceived the NYCFC back line.
