After allowing ten goals in two games, the New England Revolution recorded 2-1 win over league-leading Toronto FC.
Toronto’s Tosaint Ricketts appeared to score a goal in the 23rd minute but the striker was deemed offside. Ricketts threatened the Revs’ net three minutes later, but Cody Cropper was there to make an outstretched save.
Michael Bradley was the center of attention in the 33rd and 35th minutes. First, the U.S. National Team midfielder made a hard tackle to stop a Diego Fagundez break away. Soon after Bradley played a hospital ball that Teal Bunbury intercepted.
