The New England Revolution salvaged a 2-2 draw against New York City FC on Wednesday night.
After a quiet 15 minutes, David Villa created the game’s opening goal by cutting through the Revolution defense. The Spaniard sent Antonio Delamea and Benjamin Angoua to the ground before finding a centrally-located Jack Harrison, who had a simple finish.
After weathering some high pressure from NYC FC, the Revs had a chance of their own when Gershon Koffie found Lee Nguyen, who put Kei Kamara in on goal.
