The New England Revolution extended their home unbeaten run to 10 when they defeated Columbus Crew SC 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Crew SC were dangerous early on, as they used the flanks to disturb the Revolution defense. The visitors nearly got a goal in the 5th minute via Federico Higuain but his shot was saved by Cody Cropper. Ola Kamara finished the rebound but it didn’t count because the striker was offside.
Ola Kamara was onside for his next shot, which was a beautiful one-time finish that will contend for Goal of the Year. Wil Trapp was the mastermind behind the goal, as his diagonal ball found Kamara in a good spot.
