The New England Revolution kept their playoff hopes alive after collecting a 1-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday night.
Teal Bunbury forced the first save of the game in the 21st minute when he fired a shot towards goalkeeper Stefan Marinovic. The attempt was assisted by Diego Fagundez.
The Whitecaps made a change in the 29th minute when Matias Laba exited with an injury. The defensive midfielder was replaced by Andrew Jacobson.
The Revs had an opportunity to break the deadlock before halftime after the Whitecaps committed a handling offense just outside the box.
