Revolution 1, Union 6: Revs fall apart in second half

The New England Revolution were a part of another shoot out, as they lost 6-1 to the Philadelphia Union on Saturday night.

Both teams were missing key contributors, as the Revs went with a makeshift back line of Luis Caicedo, Andrew Farrell, Michael Mancienne, and Edgar Castillo. Meanwhile, the Union started third-string goalkeeper Carlos Coronel.

The game started innocently enough as both teams had looks on goal. The Union broke through in the 11th minute when Jack Elliott collected a pass from Haris Medunjanin before beating Cody Cropper. The Revs brought the game back to the level terms in the 35th minute after Castillo put Juan Fernando Caicedo behind the Union defense.
