Recovering from hamstring strain, Femi “could be a possibility” against Cosmos

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – It’s all hands on deck for the New England Revolution as they navigate a grueling five-games-in-15-days stretch, and they could have another body back in the mix ahead of Wednesday night’s U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 meeting with the New York Cosmos.

Femi Hollinger-Janzen, who suffered a hamstring injury in the Fourth-Round victory over the Carolina RailHawks, returned to full training on Monday after missing New England’s last two league matches.

The rookie, who’s burst onto the professional scene as an energetic late-game substitute this season, appeared to come through Monday’s session unscathed, but the Revs will wait until Tuesday to make a final decision on whether he’s fit enough to feature at Belson Stadium.
