Recap: Road woes continue as Revolution suffer 3-0 loss to Philadelphia Union

CHESTER, Pa. – The New England Revolution (5-8-5; 20 pts.) fell to the Philadelphia Union (6-7-4; 22 pts.), 3-0, at Talen Energy Stadium on Sunday evening.

After Revolution defender Benjamin Angoua was whistled for a handball in the box just minutes into the start of the match, Philadelphia forward C.J. Sapong converted from the penalty spot to put the home side in front in the fourth minute of the match. The Union also struck quickly at the start of the second half, as Fafa Picault played a cross to Ilsinho in the 18-yard box, where the latter found the back of the net to double the Union's lead.
