Recap | Revs clinch spot in Audi MLS Cup Playoffs despite 1-0 loss to Red Bulls

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (7-6-8, 29 pts.) fell to the New York Red Bulls, 1-0, at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday night. New York’s Aaron Long scored the game’s lone goal in the 89th minute, when he got on the end of a Red Bulls corner kick that was headed down into the penalty area. Despite the result, the Revolution clinched a spot in the 2020 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs tonight due to FC Dallas’ win over Inter Miami CF.
