FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (5-3-6, 21 pts.) defeated D.C. United, 2-0, at Audi Field on Sunday night. Gustavo Bou scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute, when he combined with Cristian Penilla and slotted a grounded shot by D.C. United goalkeeper Bill Hamid. Adam Buksa added an insurance goal in the first minute of second-half stoppage time with a chipped shot, securing New England’s second win at Audi Field this season.

Bou moves into the team lead in goals scored with five, and also adds a game-winning goal for the second consecutive game.
