Recap: Goals from Bunbury, Nguyen not enough as Revs fall to Red Bulls, 3-2

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (5-9-5; 20 pts.) fell to the New York Red Bulls (8-8-2, 26 pts.), 3-2, at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday evening. New England carried a 2-1 lead into the second half, but goals from Red Bulls forwards Daniel Royer and Gonzalo Verón in the 55^th and 90^th minutes, respectively, propelled New York to its first win in Foxborough since 2014.

Forward Teal Bunbury and midfielder Lee Nguyen were the goal scorers for the Revolution, with Bunbury opening his 2017 account in the 21^st minute and Nguyen scoring his seventh – tying Juan Agudelo for the team lead – in the 26^th minute.
