Revolution forward Teal Bunbury put the visiting side on the board quickly, tallying in the fourth minute of the match. Minutes later, following video review, forward Krisztián Németh was issued a red card for a foul on Sporting Kansas City's Graham Zusi, forcing the Revs to finish the match with 10 men.
