New England Revolution right back scores for Jamaica

Days after receiving a red card against the Philadelphia Union, New England Revolution right back Je-Vaughn Watson scored for Jamaica in a World Cup qualifier against Costa Rica.

Watson, 32, started for the Reggae Boyz on Friday night. In the 16th minute, the veteran left his mark on the game, hitting a picturesque header to give his team the lead. New York Red Bulls defender Kemar Lawerence provided the assist.

Watson's first half tally would later be negated by Jonny Acosta, who scored on a close-range tap-in in the 67th minute.
