FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have acquired forward Juan Fernando Caicedo on loan from Colombian side Independiente Medellín for the 2019 season with a permanent transfer option. Caicedo will be added to the active roster using either Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) or a Designated Player slot pending the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa. He will occupy an international roster slot.
“We have been closely tracking Juan over the last several months and have had the pleasure of seeing him play live multiple times. Juan brings a wealth of experience in top-flight competition and will add a new dimension to our attack,” General Manager Michael Burns said.
