It seems like just yesterday that the New England Revolution were eliminated in the 2020 Eastern Conference Finals, but fans won’t have to wait too much longer. Major League Soccer announced what the 2021 schedule will look like on Monday afternoon.
The 2021 season will begin on April 3rd with the preseason beginning on February 22nd. The preseason period will last 6 weeks and players will be forced to quarantine once they report to their clubs.
After that things start to get a little less concrete. Late August will be Rivalry Week while the All-Star game is slated for “late summer.
