One of the bright spots for the New England Revolution has been Matt Turner. He has kept the team alive but there was nothing he could do on Wednesday night. The Revs were overpowered by NYCFC upsetting many including Turner.
Once again New England struggled in the attacking third. They failed to convert on any chances they created. It’s hard to win games or even draw if you are failing to score any goals. When you have 15 shots you need to get more than three on target.
But what the scoreline won’t show you is how lost the Revs were.
