FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Gillette Stadium will host two of the world’s top six teams in first round match-ups during the Copa America Centenario, a once-in-a-lifetime tournament, this June.
The first match-up features Group D teams Chile vs. Bolivia on Friday, June 10. Two days later, on Sunday, June 12, Brazil will face Peru in Group B’s final group stage match.
Chile is currently the world’s No. 5 ranked team in the FIFA rankings, while Brazil is the No. 6 team. Peru is No. 43, and Bolivia is No. 72.
Gillette Stadium will also host a Quarterfinal match on Saturday, June 19, which will feature Group D’s top team against the second-place from Group C.
