Tonight, Andrew Farrell and the MLS All-Stars face Arsenal, the British club that placed second on the 2015-2016 Premier League table.
The match continues an 11-year tradition of Major League Soccer pitting its best talent against upper-tier European clubs. Launched in 2005, when MLS beat Fulham, 4-1, the annual match has typically leaned in favor of the MLS All-Stars, who hold a 7-4 all-time record against European competition. Most recently, MLS beat Bayern Munich (2014) and Tottenham Hotspur (2015).
This year, the stateside All-Stars field a youth-filled roster that includes Farrell, the only representative from the Revolution.
