Luis Figo and Gilberto Silva could have been members of the New England Revolution, according to former New England Revolution coach Stevie Nicol.
In his autobiography 5 League Titles and a Packet of Crisps, Nicol opened up about his final years with the Revolution. Nicol, who accumulated 110 wins, 108 draws, and 81 losses while at the helm, concedes that the 2010 and 2011 seasons were difficult. In 2010, the Revs went 9-16-5. The next year was worse, as the club went 5-16-13.
While reflecting on those years, Nicol provides some insight about what went wrong and what could've been.
