FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Two New England Revolution players, midfielder Lee Nguyen and defender Je-Vaughn Watson, have been called into their respective national teams for a pair of 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers this week. Nguyen joins the United States Men’s National Team for two matches versus Guatemala, while Watson joins the Jamaican national team for two matches versus Costa Rica.
Nguyen, 29, is one of 26 players called in by US Men’s National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann for semifinal round World Cup Qualifying matches against Guatemala on March 25 and March 29.
