Juan Agudelo is on Bruce Arena’s USMNT radar

There’s at least one New England Revolution player that’s expected to benefit from Bruce Arena taking over the US Men’s National Team, as Juan Agudelo is inline for a January call up.

Arena, who recently took over for Jurgen Klinsmann as head coach of the national team, recently expressed a desire to look at MLS players. Among those listed as potential prospects was Agudelo.

Having scored three goals in 21 appearances for the USMNT, Agudelo isn’t exactly a stranger to the program. That said, the 24-year-old prodigy found it difficult to earn Klinsmann’s trust, even after he scored against Mexico on Apr.
