Jermaine Jones has been out-of-contract with the New England Revolution since the team's 2-1 playoff loss back in October. But since all contracts officially end on December 31st, the new year means that Jones is officially not under contract with the Revolution.
To commemorate this, Jones removed the Revs from his Twitter bio earlier today, listing only the United States national team on his profile:
Jones is one of the more active players on social media, taking to Twitter to post his dismay with New England's most recent contract offer and to Instagram after the team's playoff loss to thank the fans for his 18 months with the Revs.
