New England Revolution defender Je-Vaughn Watson has been called in by the Jamaican National Team ahead of 2018 World Cup Qualifiers against Panama and Haiti. Watson will leave on Aug. 29 and is expected to return to the Revs on Sept. 6.

Jamaica will play Panama on Sept. 2 and Haiti on Sept. 6. These upcoming games are crucial for Jamaica, who’s currently third place in Group B with four points, ahead of Haiti’s one point but below Panama’s seven and Costa Rica’s ten. The Reggae Boyz need to grab one of the top two spots if they want to make it to the fifth and final round of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying.
