Je-Vaughn Watson A Bright Spot As Jamaica Loses 1-0 To Venezuela

The New England Revolution defender had two of the Reggae Boyz best chances, but the crossbar denied Jamaica an opening goal.

Je-Vaughn Watson played 88 minutes at fullback for Jamaica in their Copa America Group C opener, a 1-0 loss to Venezuela. The New England Revolution defender has seen time in the midfield for his national team, but he started in a familiar role at full back where he's featured for his club during the 2016 MLS season.

Watson nearly got Jamaica on the board in the opening minutes when he rose up to meet a header following a corner kick in the first half.
