FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Kelyn Rowe is expected to miss the next 6-8 weeks after spraining his right knee in the dying stages of Sunday night’s 2-1 loss to New York City FC.
Rowe’s knee bent awkwardly as he planted on the temporary sod at Yankee Stadium, and the 25-year-old midfielder required extensive treatment before being helped off the field. He’ll now likely miss at least a large chunk of the remaining nine weeks of the regular season.
There is good news for a trio of other Revolution players, however, as Diego Fagundez, Xavier Kouassi and Lee Nguyen all resumed full training this week after injury scares in the Bronx.
