Henry Kessler’s rookie season deserves praise

The New England Revolution currently sit seventh in the Eastern Conference. So far 2020 has been an interesting season, but one of the definite highlights has been watching Henry Kessler play.

Kessler came highly touted out of Virginia. He played in over 50 games in his college career and helped lead a historically talented backline. Kessler was selected sixth overall by the Revs in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.

Quickly, Kessler showed why New England started him. In his first two games, he played rather well. He made key tackles and showed some confidence and poise on the pitch.
