The New England Revolution were already without Matt Turner and Tajon Buchanan and now they can add another player to the list.
After Walker Zimmerman got injured in the game against Buchanan and Canada, The Nashville SC defender was sent home and Revolution center back Henry Kessler was called into United States Men’s National Team camp as well as Cade Cowell.
With Zimmerman being sent home, it seems rather likely that Kessler is named to the roster by the Saturday deadline. This means that New England back line will be shaken up.
After getting his first playing time for the U-23’s in Olympic Qualifying, Kessler now has the chance to get his first cap for the senior team in the Gold Cup.
