Jay Heaps is thankful for every opportunity he’s received in Foxboro and he said as much in a heartfelt letter he posted on Twitter on Tuesday.
Heaps, who was fired after leading the New England Revolution for six years, had a lot of praise for the people he encountered while he was with the club. The player-turned-coach started by thanking the fans, saying he “loved every second on the field and every minute preparing the team to play in front of you.” He went on to say the he will miss the supporters.
