Giovinco isn't afraid of the Gillette Stadium turf

It's a story that's become all too familiar: A team comes to Gillette Stadium, only to have their superstar player refuse to take the field.

Thierry Henry was notorious for picking up phantom injuries before trips to Foxborough, a trend that became a bit ironic since the Frenchman ended his career by playing at Gillette Stadium. Didier Drogba saw the field in 2015, but might not in 2016 since he's now taken a hard stance against turf fields.

While many Designated players have refused to play at Gillette Stadium, Toronto FC midfielder Sebastian Giovinco could care less.
