FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The Revolution (1-2-5; 8 points) fell to Eastern Conference rival D.C. United (2-2-3; 9 points), 3-0, at RFK Stadium on Saturday evening. New England had a strong showing in the first half, but Lamar Neagle put the home team ahead in the 33rd minute, converting a penalty kick after Marclo Sarvas drew a foul on boundary of the box. D.C. United added two more goals late in the match, as Luciano Acosta and Álvaro Saborio found the back of the net in the 86th and 90th minutes, respectively.
