Cropper earns USMNT call-up beside Rowe, Agudelo for January camp

When the U.S. Men’s National Team gathers in Carson, Calif. for its annual January camp, three Revolution players will join the squad: midfielder Kelyn Rowe, forward Juan Agudelo and goalkeeper Cody Cropper.

Those close to the National Team could have predicted the inclusion of Rowe and Agudelo on the 30-man roster; the pair has earned regular call-ups dating back to last summer’s Gold Cup. Cropper, on the other hand, serves as something of a surprise.

Though Cropper previously competed at the youth international level—he earned 21 caps for the U-20 team and seven caps for the U-23 side—the Atlanta native has never earned a call for January training camp.
