The Colorado Rapids have acquired United States national team midfielder Jermaine Jones from the New England Revolution, the club announced on Friday night.
Jones moves to Colorado in exchange for general allocation money and the Rapids' first-round pick in the upcoming MLS draft. He will not occupy a Designated Player spot on his new team.
