Charlie Davies says a heartfelt goobye to New England

When Charlie Davies first came to New England in August 2013 his career was at a standstill. He had been with Randers FC of Denmark since 2012, playing 23 games but scoring no goals. This prompted the loan to the New England Revolution, where he only contributed 23 minutes in four games. Regardless, Davies returned to the Revs in 2014, which sparked a career renaissance.

Davies was the go-to striker during the final months of the 2104 season, helping the Revs make their first MLS Cup appearance since 2007. He had three goals and four assists during the regular season and five goals and one assist in the postseason.
