Revolution fans rejoiced Monday morning after the New England Revolution announced that midfielder Carles Gil has signed a contract extension through the 2024 MLS season.
Revolution fans will remember the subject of Carles Gil’s contract extension was brought up by none other than club legend Taylor Twellman, who hinted at the re-signing during the broadcast of the May 16th matchup against the Columbus Crew.
When talking about re-signing with the Revs, Gil said “Since I arrived in Boston more than two years ago, this city has become my home and the fans and my teammates have become my family,”
Since joining the Revs in January of 2019, the midfield maestro has put on a dominant performance and has been a huge impact on the Revs offensive efforts.
