After a scoring outburst the past two games, the New England Revolution were unable to get past Nashville SC’s backline and were held to a 0-0 draw on Saturday night.
New England dominated the game. They had 17 shots, 12 corner kicks, and ended the match with 65.9 percent possession.
The injury-riddled Nashville club sat back for most of the game. Besides a few chances, most of the game was spent in the final third for New England.
It was a typical game for an expansion club. They were simply trying to walk away with a point.
