Academy Players Receive Honors from Generation adidas Elite Soccer Program and U.S. Soccer Development Academy

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Four New England Revolution Academy players have received national recognition following the 2016-17 Academy season. Nickolas Cardona (Roxbury, Mass.) and Michael Tsicoulias (Newton, Mass.) have been selected to attend the Generation adidas Elite Soccer Program (ESP) during MLS All-Star Week in Chicago, Ill. In addition, Kevin Vang (Cranston, R.I.) and Joe Brito (Bolton, Conn.) were named to the United States Soccer Development Academy’s Eastern Conference "Best XI” for Under-16 and Under-18 players, respectively.

ESP’s pinnacle annual event, which runs in conjunction with the MLS All-Star Game festivities from July 30-August 3, is an invitation-only week-long program gathering the best MLS Academy players born in 2002 and 2003 to compete on the pitch and bond with each other off it.
